It works great and it is the only way I can go out in the very hot desert sun to garden. I do bring something with me so I can keep re-soaking it in water but that's ok with me because it allows me to be cool enough to stay out longer. If I have the hose on I can just squirt it to re-wet it.

This hat is good looking and high-quality. The cooling effect is the reason why I bought it for my boyfriend and he seems to like it. The brand does flop a bit and does hang download so unfortunately he will not be able to use it while golfing.

Not sure why this works but I wish I'd had gotten it instead of that other one that covers your face too. It keeps you pretty cool, I was outside shooting video and it's about 108 degrees here in Arizona, for three hours. It was exhausting, but I wasn't cooking on my skull like normally happens even with a hat on. Very good item!

I was pleasantly surprised to see how well this hat works to keep me cool on these very hot days. Simply place the hat under running water, ring it out, and wear! And it does not drip water in my eyes. After a few hours just soak again for continued use!

I love this hat. It has been hot all summer and this is great. I walk or hike 7 miles a day the hat clearly made a difference. Very good quality and very easy to maintain. Great hat.

It was a little bigger than other one size fits all but not much. It does keep you cooler than other hats I’ve had. The brim is not near as rigid as I expected. It flips down a bit and I have to reshape it. The big brim does catch in the wind. I have not wet the brim but expect it would be flopped down if you did. I only wet the band.
