OK, Ill admit, it might look a little goofy, but it WORKS. Dip in water or run under a faucet, wring out the excess, and the hat will help keep your head cooler for a while.Machine washable, and made with very breathable fabric. Supposed to block harmful sun rays.Fit is comfortable, it starts out a little large, then you have an elastic cord that takes about 5 seconds to adjust to how snug or loose you want it to be. There is a little spring loaded lock collar you use to adjust. Press the button, and tighten/loosen as you like, release the button and it locks in place.All in all, a good hat, both in quality and function. The brim is a bit wide so it will bump into seatbacks and headrests, but is soft/flexible enough in back, that it is a minor annoyance at worst. I really like it for working outside on hot days.

When the hot sun is beating down on you this hat definitely helps. Wish it stayed wet a little longer but overall it worked great.

I love the hat.I have a big head, and there was still room to play with, even with my thick hair.Hat brim gets floppy, especially when wet, but the side button will fix that problem easy.If this constantly gets wet or holds a lot of sweat, HIGHLY SUGGEST that you wash it after each use.

The fit is good but the material is too light. Slight breezes turn the brim upside down

It was a little bigger than other one size fits all but not much. It does keep you cooler than other hats I’ve had. The brim is not near as rigid as I expected. It flips down a bit and I have to reshape it. The big brim does catch in the wind. I have not wet the brim but expect it would be flopped down if you did. I only wet the band.

The part of getting it wet for cooling, it just feels like having a wet towel on your head. As a regular dry shade hat is good

Quality made, fits, but if you get it fairly wet it gets floppy and hangs down. Does cool some though.

Liked that it kept the sun from burning my head and ears. Wish the brim was a little stiffer as it got a little floppy once it got wet and was used a while. The term bucket hat is accurate as it does hold water well as block water from above. Just wish front brim would stay straight across more and not be as droopy.

Haven't used it a whole lot yet but as of now it doesn't seem to really keep me cool. But since I haven't used it enough I wouldn't say that that's the way it is for sure.

There's no hole where the snap button goes and I started to wonder if it's supposed to be like that. Looking at other comments and, apparently, it's not uncommon to get a hat missing a snap.

Awesome hat, especially for the price. I'm a 175 pound average sized man and one size fits (nearly) all has always worked for me in hats. Not this time. Way too big. Thus, my return. Otherwise, buy away. I did purchase a Mission brand ball cap and it is great.
