My son had a cast on his arm and needed to cover it with foam in order to continue playing soccer. This foam met the thickness requirements of the league but it was really hard to wrap around his cast. The foam is dense, which did provide good protection, but it was also really difficult to wrap around the cast. We had to cut two different custom shaped pieces in order to cover the whole cast; one for the forearm and one to cover the elbow and upper arm. We bought a 12 pack of self-adhesive bandage rolls and because the foam was so dense it took an entire roll to get it securely wrapped in place. In the end it did what it was supposed to and he was able to play with his cast on, it was just a lot more difficult to wrap than I had expected due to the stiffness of the foam.

Used this to wrap my daughter's cast after she broke her arm it in order to allow her to keep playing soccer. It worked great. Super easy to reuse for multiple games.

I had to cover my son's short arm cast in order to be eligible to play soccer. This was the perfect thickness. I cut it to size and covered with Coban or an Ace wrap and he and the other players were well protected.

My son broke his arm during football practice, and after a few weeks of healing in a cast, he was given permission by his Dr to play again with the cast. This foam is necessary in order to be allowed on the field. Well not only was this particular foam approved, but the coaches and medical staff stated that they were glad that we got “the good stuff!” They said this was super easy to apply, and one sheet has actually lasted several high school football games! One sheet covers a full cast from his wrist to above his elbow. My 6'2” son is a lineman on a team currently in the playoffs, so it can take a beating and still hold up well! I highly recommend this foam, and if we should ever need to cover another cast, this will be the only foam that I would ever use! I highly recommend this foam to anyone needing to cover a cast for sports.

This has been a lifesaver. My son used this to cover his arm brace for the soccer season. We made one cut in the foam and we were able to reuse it for the entire season, using Powerflex Athletic Tape (it doesn't stick to the foam but secures it in place) and 2 pieces of hockey tape to secure the Powerflex tape.

This really is Perfect for kids who play sports!It is 1/2 which is regulation for soccer. I strongly suggest wrapping with self-adhesive bandage. This way you can use the foam more than once as well as the bandage material. (The foam does come as a 2 pack) however 1 piece lasted repeated usage for 6weeks of U10 soccer with multiple practices and game a week.
