As many other reviewers noted, this runs large and is well suited for the curvy "pear shaped" woman. It is too curvy especially around hip area for my frame (currently 5' 4", 140#...I was 20# heavier when I ordered this coat but even then it felt big). I liked having a coat tailored to a woman's shape, and this would suit a taller, Rubenesque woman well. Material is of good quality.

Take the size chart with a grain of salt. I'm 6'1" 180lbs, female. Usually a size 10-12, ordered a XL per the measurements/size chart provided. It was HUGE! The tailor took it in about 12"!!!!! It's a nice quality coat, and the sleeves are long enough (which is rare), but unless you are very blessed on your bottom half, this is just much much too big!

The small was far too big. Sleeves too long, overall felt like a kid wearing an adult's coat. I'm 5'2". Also heavy fabric which can be good if that's what you're looking for but would felt too hot for me, as well as too big. Good quality though!!

The material and design is perfect but the size is not accurate . I got size large and it was huge :( i think you have to order a smaller size than the one you usually wear
