It appears that Campbell Beef Broth has disappeared from shelves lately. (months). It's my best soup additive for making French onion soup. Other brands just don't taste the same. It's slightly higher in cost here but not much. But it's worth it. I knew that I would find it here. Thank you.

Beef broth is one of those things you should always have on hand. It's the base for soups, stews, marinades and gravies. Buying it by the case means I don't have to go foraging in my pantry for a can, the cases stack easily and I know exactly when I need to order more.

Like many other products you were able to purchase in a grocery store that are now no longer available anywhere, we'll here they are.My 90 year old mother in law and Italian wife would make rice pilaf using this product. The label changed and the color of the rice isn't dark now.Compared an old can against the label on a new can and it seems only the protein increased by one gram from the old to new.

Typically I am anti canned products, but this soup is the exception. I just cannot find this soup anywhere other than here. It is AMAZING to cook with and I use it in everything from homemade (well, mostly) soups and stews, to sauces. It adds a very subtle onion flavor which does not overwhelm the other flavors of whatever I am cooking. It also offers a creaminess to the dish without having to add cream (i.e.; fat) to the dish.
