jOut of 100's of Pirates nobody had my costume. My costume last year not from Buy Costumes did not even survive 2 hours. It was comfortable but the small was to too big need xs for adults so my dress does not fall off. I did not have the time to get it altered, but nobody minded my skirt falling off anyways. So it was a WIN WIN. I will be ordering another costume in the next few weeks for a large party I will be hosting. Then of course Halloween! I love to dress up! Shipping also Rocked!

I purchased this pirate costume for a pirate themed festival. I am a short and curvy gal, so I purchased the XL. The costume looked and felt fantastic. I had to pin the top to on two sides to the skirt to keep it from riding up. There was not as much cleavage as shown on the model.

My husband went as Jack Sparrow (which we also purchased from by costumes.com) and we won best dressed!

The arrival was very timely. I ordered pretty last minute, like on the 18th. The costume arrived days before Halloween. The skirt is super cute once you have a petticoat on with it. The top can come up a little short, but if you pull the skirt up a tinge, it's not a problem. The top isn't as low cut as it appears on the picture, but if you put on a really good push up bra it shows really nice cleavage just like the pic. I was very hesitant about buying online, but I must say I was pleased. Costume was sooo cute once I got it all on with the accessories and all. Will buy from them again!

This is a super great costume. The best one ive purchased from Buy Costumes so far and Ive been an avid shopper for years. I ordered a large and it fit perfect except the top was about 1" short in the belly but nothing a few pins and a bit extra cleavage couldnt fix. I'll start by saying Im 5'5" 150 lbs and a 36 D. I usually wear 9 bottoms and L tops. This thing fit like a charm. Just snug enough to accentuate the right curves and hide the wrong ones! I wore a tank top underneath bc pulling the top down to meet the skirt showed a bit too much of cleavage for kids being at the party.The top zips 3/4 of the way up for ease in getting on/off. The skirt had a lot of stretch to the bottom but it wasn't a TIGHT elastic. It fit well without cutting into me and leaving lines and the elastic was just right where it didnt slip down or roll at all. Like I said the top was a bit short. All I did was pull it down in the front, pin it a few places and you could never tell. The arm bands are completely detached from the outfit and fit perfectly, I didnt even notice them all night, They werent tight and they werent loose so I didnt have to worry about them slipping. I wore the white pettiskirt as pictured and thanks to the longer back I could show off some leg and not have to worry showing off to much in the rear. The hat did come smooshed and the feather was tiny, the hat seemed a bit too big for my head so I just tossed it to the side and didnt even wear it. I paired the costume with some knee high brown flat boots and this costume was a HIT!

I absolutely loved this costume! The sizing was perfect! When I first received my order and tried it on, one of the ribbon loops on the top tore off, but that was easily fixed with a needle and thread. The belt had no way to secure itself, so I attached velcro strips and had no problem. I will be storing it away and can't wait to wear it again! Even my 19-year old daughter loved it so much she wants to wear it next Halloween. I ordered the matching Men's costume for my husband and we were great together!
