Does not come with cable you need to run from outlet behind tv to outlet that comes out at bottom of wall. Need to go to hardware store and grab that

The product mostly does what is intended to do, and gives you a clean, cable-free, look to your entertainment system. However, the provided outlet is useless. It has only push-in type connectors (back wiring) and they are too small for 12/2 electrical wire. Fortunately, I had an extra outlet available that had the screw terminals (side wiring) and used that.

Went into this knowing I had to purchase the interconnecting wire between the receptacles. Wire recommended on the manual was either 12/2 or 14/2 Romex. A 14/2 would be more appropriate as I barely was able to squeeze a stripped 12/2 bare wire into the receptacle. Other than this minor detail, everything works per instructions and I was able to string 3 HDMI, 1 Coax and an optical cable through them.

Of this product category, it's one of the better ones I've used. I wish it came with the romex but that stuff is easily found at any home goods store for very little, and at least then you can pick your length. The only thing I didn't like was that when I was adjusting the thing, I had to install it and remove it, and with very little effort I had one of the plastic flanges break off and fall into the stud bay. Fortunately three points of contact were enough, but that's not great.

Used this to more cleanly install a small flat-screen TV high on a wall. Easy to install. Came with some nice cut-out templates. Made the project look much better than a hanging power cord. Very durable materials.

2 nd of these I've bought. First one was different type, and went on in minutes because it had its own electrical cord to plug in between top and bottom, inside wall. Thought this was same type. But had to pick up my own wire, get out tools, wire up between pieces inside wall. Much more time consuming. Would definitely pay the extra $30 for other type next time.

This is tricky to review. Its a great product, the issue I had with it is that the actual hole where the wires tuck into is small and I had to cut the plastic which made look not do nice, but its behind the tv soy can't really see it, but I know, I know its there.
