I like the style, but I don't like the material inside the boots they are very uncomfortable. I literally wear one day and they cut my angle. I wouldn't recommend to buy this boots if you walk around a lot, or maybe get bigger sizes then you normally were.

I usually wear a 9 and I ordered a 9.5 to give me extra room for wool socks and an insert if needed. They're not very cushioned so an insert is a good add-on. I have medium wide feet and these fit well right out of the box. No breaking in. I'm working on a major TV production in Montana and needed boots that could handle snow, cacti, dirt, rocks, cow patties, etc. I've been wearing them for a while now and I love them. No flaws or defects in the fit or make of the shoe. No blisters, no pinched toes. They're very scratched up and scuffed, but they're work boots. They can definitely handle a lot and keep going.

I haven't really got to wear them yet. I got a wide and they were still tight around the tongue area. Had to buy a shoe stretcher. All except for that they are very comfortable.

Nice boot, I'm petite so even tied tightly its big at the calf. But it's well build and I can't blame company for my leg width being smaller than average. The rest of the boot fits well. They look like picture. Tough soles.

I loved the idea of having a pair of work boots that would look good, but no such luck! They were to be wide but were pretty narrow on my feet.

I love the look of these boots! I was super excited about getting them but unfortunately it was a HUGE mistake! I ordered 8.5 wide, my normal shoe size but my feet felt so cramp and then heel was cutting into the back of my ankles. My roomate/best friend also bought a pair of caterpillars but a different style and the same thing happens to get but she gets HUGE blisters. My other problem is the boots do something weird with the top of my feel... could it be cutting it too? Unsure but I know it gets really irritated and itchy and painful. When I finally am able to take my boots off I have swollen red irritated itchy feet.. almost like a reaction to the boot even tho I wear long thick socks to try and protect myself better. I think exchanged them for a 9 wide and when I received them and put them on it was almost like it was even smaller! So I put the 8.5 wide and the 9 wide together and the 8.5 wide was bigger! I thought caterpillar was one of the best brand of steel toed boots? I'm so disappointed! Every once in awhile I'll have a really good day with them or even a week but then it goes back to all the pain and irritation. I don't get it.

Get a half size bigger. I wear a 7 and got a 7 1/2 and it fits well with thick socks. With steel stoe its best to be a tad too big than too small. One thing is that on my righr foot i could feel the shoe pressing in to the top of my foot when i first got them, though since breaking them in it doesnt anymore.
