Ok 1st DO NOT buy this!!!! It barely lasted 1 year and just broke at the weld at the back part - 3/26/23- I advise anyone to NOT buy this or go see what you're buying - this could have caused an injury - and NO I'm not a fat or anything like that - it's poorly made so you've been warned

I bought this back in 2011 and still use it. I bought it for 48$ dollars back then. I was looking for a new bench and I was surprised to see the comps still selling it.Good: well build and can last a very long time.Bad: not very comfortable and is very small.

Bought mine in 2011. Never had a problem.. Have weighed in the 230s, no problem. Am 5'6, 70 year old female, no problem. It is adequate for it's purpose. This is not gym equipment which costs hundreds and thousands of dollars. It is HOME gym equipment made affordable for the individual's home budget. Of course, it won't be expensive gym quality. For me, it serves it's purpose for the 30 to 60 minute of usage on the days I use it. If there is looseness, it's the top leg attachment which is designed that way. Any other looseness is probably from the ineptness of the one who put it together. I especially like the curve of the bench because it keeps my legs out of the way when I do dumbbell exercises. The bench is not perfect but it is adequate. Satisfied for these past 11 years, especially with the addition of my squat rack. PS: This is not for heavy lifting.

I put this together with my 8 year old son. You need a socket wrench to put it together completely. Short bodied so if you’re 5’7” or taller this isn’t for you. The weight max is like 300 lbs so it’s GREAT for my son. He loves it.

Took about 45min to build. Did have some help with one section but other than that with the right tools got it up and going not issues.

I purchased this bench in 2015 and it is still in very good condition. Easy to put together just make sure all of the nuts are tight. The back rest support bar has too much play (side to side) so you need to add a bushing on each side where it is attached to the back rest. It's not for heavy lifting over 100 pounds. So if your body weight is over 170 pounds this bench is not strong enough.
