Very disappointed at the quality of the camp chef products as a whole. After all the advertisement hype I set my hopes high. After all I own a portable Weber Grill and it’s quality I now know is un-surpassed. Here’s some specifics. The lid hinges are so light weight that I straightened them out by hand because the came bent right out of the box. The lid latch is sort of riveted together and might last a few outings. The latch itsel is so sharp around the entire thing that unless I sand or file all the edges I will be bleeding. Very poor quality and definitely no quality assurance. They couldn’t even mount the latch straight. I admit I expect something for the money I spend. Don’t you?

This grill box is great, but has no way for the grease to drain. It collects in the middle and with it right over the flame you have alot of flare ups. My grill box is on a Somerset 4- burner BBQ cart. I had to drill a hole in the bottom of the BBQ box and then make a grease troff in the Somerset 4 to drain the grease away from the grill box out the back of the BBQ cart and collect in a can. Now it works great.!!!! Come on Camp Chef Engineers..... you can do better than that.!!!!! Think People, Think.!!!! Grilling produces grease. grease and fire don't mix.!!!!

What an addition to our Camp Chef setup. The grill box quickly comes up to temperature and has even heat distribution. Not a single thing we have made with this product is anything less than spectacular!

Worked great right out of the box ,all I had to do was put the handle on and I was cooking chicken breast turned out great,few days later it was time for burgers ,put 4 burgers patties on and about halfway through the grill box caught fire because the grease had no where to go .I had to latch the lid and throw it out in the yard to get it away from the house, then it went in the trash.
