Purchased 76mm for honing an old ATV cylinder. Some WD40 and several passes later the bore is cleaned up and has a nice surface for the new piston rings to seal in. Cleanup is easy with carb or brake cleaner. Make sure to get the right size hone for your bore!

used to hone bucket pin holes on a wheel loader quick tach system worked well removing rust and polishing the holes.

Easy to use and does the job. Though I prefer the 3-blade type for it's versatility in differing bore diameters, the little flex balls make for better cross-hatching.

Exactly what you need to prep a new Nikasil cylinder for new rings. This will remove material quickly, which is what you need to set in a nice hash pattern in Nikasil. However, you only need a slow speed (low gear on most drills) and only 3 or 4 oscillating strokes. Good luck.

I used this on my 2004 Tacoma when putting in new leaf springs. I needed to clean and grind down a lot of rust on the inside of the shackle that the leaf spring bolt attaches to. This fit, and worked, perfectly! I went a few sizes up on the diameter of the hone versus the hole to be honed so there would be some additional friction and I could get it as smooth as possible. Attached it to my handle held drill and went to town. Would definitely order it again if I needed it!
