Was hesitant to buy this online without looking at it first. Bought for a hanging deer feeder. Heavier construction than what I was expecting. Would Definitely recommend it.

Unit is well built going to use it with hoist. Unit will accept 1 5/8 pipe. All that buzz is crazy that it will not.worried about 1 5/8 prices. Sleeve the 1 1/4 pipe that is cut the pipe 5' long and sleeve to 5' 15/8 that wayyou buy 2 lenghts of 1 5/8 pipe instead of three and 2 lenghts of 1 1/4 instead of 3

It was extremely hard to get a 1/14 OD pipe into any of the (3) pole slot. A small weld joint the length of the inner ID kept the 1 1/4 Poe from slipping into place . After hours or filing etc I was able to attach the polesA big job for me and what would have been a simple job to correct for the manufactureLazyness

Currently removing posts for a new fence. We are on a hill with difficult access, even with mini-loader. So all has to be done by hand. Because soil was added over the years, concrete is as deep as 36 inches (2 to 3 60lbs bags). Using the tripod with 3 x 5ft pipes and a hoist, was able to extract the concrete without disturbing the soil around it too badly. The Tripod is solid. The hoist reached its limit without issue for the tripod. The hooks are pretty small so get some D ring shackles if you want to hook a bigger item.
