I wear boots every day for work. These boots are extremely comfortable. I should have ordered a size smaller but because of the design they work just fine. With a little elbow grease, they are shined like a mirror.

I have worn this boot for a long time . No break in peirod very durable and very comfortable. Will always buy this boot. I have both black and tan. USA all the way always and forever. Thank you Belleville...... Keep up making a great boot and never sell yourself to the Chinese.

bought these to wear during shifts as a security guard. they stay tight and fit well. I wasn't sure about the sizing and wear a 9 in hiking boots ( and the rest of my shoes) so I ordered an 8.5. they fits snug, but the toe box is a bit long and I find myself hitting it on stuff every once in a while and it makes running difficult. its such a nuance that I wouldn't have known from just trying on the boots since they fit really well thoughout the rest of the shoe. otherwise excellent product, not exactly like the soft leather ones I had during my enlistment but a close second

The boots look amazing. The only problem is that I followed the instructions of buying a size smaller, big mistake. If you are going to buy item, by your size.

And they will not accept an exchange as I wore them; how are you to find out if a boot fits without wearing it.

These are very high quality boots and they are TRUE TO SIZE for American size feet. So if you wear an 11D USA made shoe, order the 11D BOOT.<br /><br />I have to return these as I made the mistake of reading the sizing reviews about these boots.<br /><br />Made in CHINA footwear is variable in size and are made on CHINESE foot lasts, which are incorrect for American feet and I suppose this is what is leading to the inaccurate sizing reviews about the Belleville boots.<br /><br />These boots are USA made and are USA sized. So get your foot measured at a shoe store and then order that size for this boot.

Fit better than expected, and very comfortable right out of the box. Needed a new pair of Black combat boots for work, and since these are almost identical to the rough out coyote brown boots I'm used to wearing they seemed like the perfect boot for the job. They come unpolished, but nothing a little elbow grease and some Kiwi shoe polish can't fix. I'll be recommending these to all my friends and coworkers.<br />UPDATE 07/21/2017: Two days in I noticed thread starting to unravel on the boot where the laces attach to the front near the base, I assume from the manufacturer not finishing their stitch. Not worth sending back after I polished them to a high gloss and still need to wear them at work, so I'll have them repaired. Thoroughly inspect your new boots upon receipt to ensure you don't run into the same problem. Will likely post photos at a later time.

We bought these because they are basically the glossy black equivalent of the boots my husband wore in the Corps and he needed black boots for work.<br />He's still wearing the Bellevilles he wore on his second tour in Anbar province (five years ago, I believe), and he seems just as pleased with these.
