I just finished installing this cover, myself, on my 2021 Ranger; thought I'd write a review while thoughts are still fresh. I received a supplemental Install Sheet for the Bulkhead Seal Kit which includes a larger profile rubber seal for the bulkhead to account for the increased height of the plastic rail caps installed at the factory (the standard weatherstripping provided with the G2 is not tall enough to seal the bulkhead). I also received an instruction sheet for the Ford Ranger Rail Installation Process which begins with a note: Install supplied Bulkhead Accessory Rail (using supplied instructions) before installing Tonneau Rails. This created confusion and I finally decided Bulkhead Seal is used interchangeably with Bulkhead Accessory Rail. It's hard to imagine a rubber gasket being considered a rail.Rear bracket installation is a challenge (that may have been caused, in part, by the spray-in bedliner); you will understand when you get to that point, yourself. Then came rail installation where the real challenges begin. In short, the rail clamps are not well suited for the newer Ranger. Ford has designed the metal rail, underneath the plastic cap, with only a 1/4 vertical lip for the clamp to bite on; when tightened, the clamp simply bends the metal lip. Also, the inner jaw of the clamp has to reach quite a lot higher (than the jaw that engages the G2 rail) to grab the metal lip so the angle of relation of one jaw to the other is pretty steep. When the clamp is tightened it pulls the inner jaw off the metal lip and cants the rail into the bed. Struggled but never could get the rails to sit flat; they were canted down into the bed about 10 deg, which made attaching the cover to the rails with the thumb screws a real pain. I'm sure BAK Industries is using this clamp (which looks identical to the Leer Locks I used on my 1988 Toyota and my 2002 Dakota) with most, if not all, their products but the bottom line is it just is not appropriate for the Ranger's bed rails. The rest of the install was straight forward. In summary, if you have your cover installed by a third party, you'll likely be pretty pleased with it...I'm sure I will be. But, if you install yourself, you might find that this product is engineered to about the 85 level.
