Boxes were sturdy enough to hold my clothes for a week. I only moved them from one room to another, not sure how they would hold up during a move.

The metal bar is very sturdy, but too wide to accommodate clothes hangers!! We have standard IKEA wooden clothes hangers - nothing out of the ordinary. We also have a lot of sports clothing with heavy-duty hangers - neither will fit over the bar. We'll need to hammer the bars into submission. What a stupid design!!

Bought these for a cross country move.Thought they were bankers box like unfolds and locks - they were NOT. Had to tape everything!Then when they arrived ALL the boxes where squished. They weren’t sturdy enough to hold weight of the clothes on the bar. It’s a good thing I put other boxes in the bottoms so at least they didn’t come as balls of clothing and cardboard.

I love these boxes! I have 40 dresses, 2 kimonos, 3 jackets, 4 hoodies, 10 sweaters all in one box.They are heavy duty.Downside. They are bulky, you’ll need help getting them downstairs.

2nd time I've purchased these for my move. For hanging clothes, the metal rod is very good quality and the box is sturdy. Tried other brands that were flimsy and the rod was badly shaped, so it was difficult to hang clothes properly.
