The EXPO™ Electric drum heater has a 5 inch band width, thermostat control and three heat switch. This drum heater is designed for use on 55 gallon steel drums containing materials with good heat receptivity. The three-heat switch allows three wattage ranges of high, medium and low per thermostat setting.
Thermostat bulb senses temperature in an area remote from the active heating element. The temperature range is 200° - 400° F with 120V rating.
Dial on left is the 3-heat control switch (off, low, medium, high). It allows user to adjust wattage being used in order to reach desired temperature quickly or slowly. It may also be used to conserve energy. The right dial is the thermostat numbered 1-7. To monitor temperature in a drum the thermometer must be used.
Electric drum heaters install easily with spring-loaded toggle clamp, 6 foot power cord with standard three-prong plug for grounded operation. Equipped with two neon pilot lights. The green pilot light will glow continuously as long as the heater is plugged in. The red pilot light will cycle on and off as the control cycles.

This heater is for use with steel drums that do not contain a removable plastic liner.
Note: For indoor use only. Units are not moisture-proof nor explosion-proof. Not for use with flammables or near a flammable area.
Caution: Allowing liquid in a container to fall below the level of the heater will render the heater ineffective and could irreparably damage the baked on epoxy phenolic lining in lined steel drums and pails.
Note: Plug pattern depends on the heater's amperage rating, this heater requires a standard 3-prong plug.
