I ordered this snuffer to extinguish candles throughout my house. It works superbly! The bell portion can be angled for various candle depths when inside a jar. I received an additional snuffer as a free gift and use that on a different level of the home. What a great surprise and nice quality!

what can you say about such an object? It works well, it looks good at home or on the altar.

I could not find a candle snuffer at any of our area stores, so ordered this one. I am very pleased with the product for the price. It looks nice enough that I have it setting out on the hall bookcase. I did have to re-glue the joint where the wooden handle and brass tip connects because the glue came loose, but that was no problem at all.

I received (and still have) an e-mail that stated the item had shipped & when I should receive it. The dates came & went & no item arrived. The next e-mail blamed the USPS for loosing the item & that the item was out of stock & they were refunding the price.

I was surprised at the quality of the product. Because the price was so reasonable, I thought the quality would be good, but not excellent.

I got this for my wife for Christmas and she loved it. It made a big hit with other family members too, so I guess it's a keeper. :)Personally, I found it a bit longer and lighter than I expected, and it looks like the joint between the wooden handle and the metal part is ever so slightly crooked. (Nobody else has mentioned that, so it might just be me - it's VERY slight, if at all.)The snuffer swivels easily on the handle, which is nice, and the color is good too. It's a bit more shiny and bright than shows in the product picture, which I expected and appreciated.Overall, I've seen candle snuffers I liked better, but this one is an excellent buy for the price.

It's perfect and does exactly what I expected it to do! I ordered this for my candles and don't have to worry about splatter all over everything anymore.

This snuffer has a nice rustic look so it's worth leaving it out next to the candles. The wood and brass materials should last a lifetime.The bell is on a hinge so it will always aim downward. This makes snuffing hard to reach candles much easier.

Just what we were looking for, well made, simple design, looks good enough to leave out on the sideboard. A great value at the price.You need one of these if you want to avoid having to clean wax out of your table cloths!Downside - not as much fun for the kids as blowing out the candles, but see above.
