I found this very handy, and you don't get the mess of wax all over the table from blowing out candles. Small enough to store easily.

I was actually a bit surprised with the quality of this snuffer. It's fairly heavy and well made and I've had no issues with it.

This is a very simple but pretty piece. 7 inches is a bit too short for extinguishing tall candle on a mantel.The free-swinging bowl is not one I would have chosen if this information had been available in the presentation.
