This dried treat consists of fresh, clean, sound flesh of ripe organic pineapple. Pineapples are washed, cored, sliced and carefully dehydrated at low temperature to attain just the right softness and flavor.
Pineapple is an excellent source the trace mineral manganese, which is an essential cofactor in a number of enzymes important in energy production and antioxidant defenses.It is also a very good source of vitamin C, copper and a good source of vitamin B1, vitamin B6, dietary fiber, folate and pantothenic acid.
Pineapples contain a relatively rare proteolytic enzyme called bromelain, which is primarily associated with breaking down complex proteins, but it also has serious anti-inflammatory effects, and has been positively correlated with reducing the signs and symptoms of arthritis in many test subjects.
