At the comparing the matco and the snap on and hammers it feels like it on par of power without paying those prices. Already moved several CV axle that seems stuck thought I wasn't going to get them out with air hammer this one did it.

Had to get an air hammer to remove sway bar bushings from the control arms on a '95 Econoline, this thing was almost too powerful! Thankfully after I got the hang of the trigger, you can really dial in how much power you need, from light taps to total destruction. The quality and performance are great for the price.

I never knew how bad I needed this in my life until I came across a viscous fan clutch on a tractor that had been virtually welded to the water pump by the previous owner (left hand thread, bro). I mean jumping on a the end of a 2" wrench and breaker bar stuck. I was preparing to cut the thing off but fortunately fell down a YouTube hole that lead me in this direction. And lo, it motivated that nut right off no problem. Worth every penny just on that repair alone. Now I consider it essential farm shop equipment as using seems to avoid many smashed fingers and hands. Also, as it caused some consternation on my part while making the purchase, I have not regretted the 0.401" shank decision.

Doesn't matter if I'm using it to remove stuck brake rotors or to chip rocks when digging, it gets the job done. Just make sure that your air compressor is big enough, as this thing chugs a lot of air.

Didn't seem too powerful at first. Bit did end up doing me good for a couple months. Then I oiled it one day and the teigger got stuck full throttle like other reviews have said. Called astro, said it has a 1 year warranty and i have to send the tool back myself. Not super happy. I have enjoyed their impact guns however.
