this is one of those tools you purchase and you don't know if it's going to be better than what you have, let me tell you this thing was worth three times the money, it was so easy to pull down those lower control arms to get the struts in. SO MUCH BETTER than my 4 foot pry bar. it comes from Astro so you know what's going to be a great product. if you're on the fence about buying it, BUY IT

I bought this and it just came today. Before I received it, I was worried it was made of some thin pipe. A pipe that would bend easily. NOPE! The web is heavy 1/4" (3/8"?) plate steel. The pipes are thick. The hook is 1/2" thick hardened steel. And, it is adjustable! It is a beast! It is about 4" feet tall on end. I will recommend this to "Rainman Ray" on his YouTube site! South Main Auto, also. Control arms can be a bear to pull down. This has the leverage that makes that easy. This is the tool to have if you do control arm work.

Tired of using a 3 foot prybar wedged between the control arm and engine cradle in hopes to pry down and pull out the balljoint? This tool solves that problem and works with approx 97 vehicles on the road.

I about the hook u use with crow bar. I slipped off so many times and even punched myself in the face. Bought this a d it's like night and day. Had to order 3 times cause box was ripped and half the pieces missing but when I actually got everything it works great. Yeah it's 4 times the price but it's worth it not slipping, hitting yourself ones u do. And u can put tons of pressure on it and it won't move. Highly recommend! I own my own shop fyi. Subaru Specialist shop and works on other makes. Great tool. Worth every penny.
