Love the AT and this book. This edition however missed some changes in resupply locations in the New England and Mid-Atlantic sections. Three places listed in the book no longer open.

Purchased 2 one for me and one for my friend on the trail made things very easy keeping up with his location on my side and made things very easy for him to locate places to stay

Used this two weeks ago on a 6-day AT hike....we also used the Guthook's app with our smartphone, but this was always there and overruled the tech gadget a coupla times. We found the data to be accurate and reliable. I wouldn't take off on a multi-day hike without it.

Concise information about locations on the trail. Didn't have as much elevation info as I would have liked. That is important in planning time and days on the trail between stops.
