Nice small billy pot. Great for dry baking and smaller meals. Trangia 27-8 barely fits inside because of the strap buckle. You have to slide the buckle as far down as you can. Will still probably scratch the inside of the pot

This was a fantastic investment. I have the Trangia Series 27 set and this pot was made specifically for that set. Just got the pot today and put it to use. Make cabbage and spam in the new pot for a meal with a side of brown rice. All in all, it easily fed 3 people and I'm over 300 lbs. For desert I made blueberry muffin mix in one of the smaller pots by using the new billy pot as a steamer stove. Put about 3/4 inch water in the bottom of the big pot, put in a silicon egg ring, then put the small pot with the batter on top of the silicon ring. Put the top on the billy pot and let the alcohol stove burn until empty (with the simmer ring on after the water came to a boil). Turned out great! And the whole series 27 kit fit inside the billy pot perfectly (had to remove strap though). The strap fit around the pot with about 3/4 inch sticking out. All in all, it was a GREAT experience and it will definitely be my go to gear when I go fishing on the weekends. The pot was kind of expensive. But after using it, I feel that the cost was well worth it since it fits as part of the series 27 set. There is also a different pot for the series 25 set if you have that. Happy cooking!

Bought to use with my Trangia 25 and 27 cook kits. Perfect for steam baking breads and muffins on the Trangia 27 or 25. Toss a silicone egg ring into the bottom of the pot, add a couple cups of water to bottom. Mix up you bread or muffin mix and toss it into a greased 1.5 lt Trangia bowl. Place the bowl into the pot (on top of the ring) , put on lid, 30 minutes with burner full open and you have fresh baked goodness in camp.

My 27 fits in just perfect. I add a towel to prevent it from clanking. On a still day, temp around freezing, my 27 did boil 2 quarts of water, although I had to refill the stove.
