I was looking for magnets that I could use to hold a cover I was making to stick up on the stove fan to keep the cold air out. I used the type of Styrofoam board a kid would use in school to show a project with, but wanted really strong magnets even though the board isn't at all heavy.It is almost difficult to separate these magnets from each other. I mean they are heavy duty little magnets. They have glue strips that I used to attach were not as strong as I would have hoped so I added E6000 and hot glue to hold on the magnets. They really hold that board upon that fan frame. It's easy enough to remove it when I cook or use the fan. Although I decided to add extra adherence to the back of the magnets , it was more important that I have great magnets and not worried so much about the adhesive.I suggest if you need some great strong little magnets, these are the ones!

I had to practice for a while, but I dragged one magnet (held by a thin flexible wire) across the walls and it stuck at the nails in studs.

Use these at work to attach wrenches and chisels to machinery where they are needed. They are VERY strong! I have not used the adhesive backing, just stick them to metal on machinery, so I can't speak to how well the adhesive works.

I like the thicker design of these magnets. I'm using them to hold openings in a tarp together that I have as a RV camper skirt. I bought this pack and another thinner pack and these are much stronger. I'll be buying more of these.
