AliMed® Gel Anti-Shear Support Surfaces made to fit AMSCO® Tables 1080/2080, 3080/3085 and C-Max* Akton® polymer gel helps to avoid excessive pressure buildup, which canlead to skin damage, while evenly distributing weight and providingconstant support beneath patients without bottoming out. Gel reducesshear by moving with the skin, not against it. Heat and humidity arecontrolled by the material’s ability to evenly radiate heat throughoutthe product. This reduces the risk of potentially dangerous “hot spot”development, while providing a uniform temperature environ?ment for thepatient.
Exposed layer of Akton® polymer gel (3/8" thick) isheat-sealed over a high-density Polyfoam pad (2" thick), providingconstant support beneath patients without bottoming out. Anti-shear, elastic cover with fluid-proof, welded seams encases foam layer.
Available as 3-piece complete sets, or buy as individual pieces to fit AMSCO® tables. Pads include perineal cutout. Not made with natural rubber latex.
