AKG K371-BT Professional Closed-Back Bluetooth Studio Headphones

There is simply NOTHIng To ponder or think about. If you love music period, you NEED THESE HEADPHONES!!!!! Monitoring, listening, WHATEVER!!! This is one of those MUST HAVES!!!! Unbelievable sound that is COMPLETELY original. Nothing comes close. Specifically SUB BASS frequencies !!!! Not harsh or over powering. These are like sitting right in between the best large size speakers Money can buy. Just buy them and you see!!!!

This was purchased by my wife so she could practice on her new Yamaha electronic piano. I stole her set so I could listen to some of my music and was just blown away with the sound and the comfort. Best $120 I have ever spent!

Ok, I've owned many AKG Y50BT's (4 pairs for 3 to 4 years, 3 still work) and three pairs of AKG Y500s last year as the second Y50BT failed and now tried this. The ONLY flaw I see in this unit is that yes, as noted it has a potential design flaw to crack at the inner part of the over the head portion at the seam between the plastic and the padding--EASY CHEAP FIX Is to put some strong reinforcing black tape or even tightly wrap electrical tape a few times tightly around the headset there. That fixed it for me. The fit of these headphones was perfect on my on ears and head if I put the earpieces about 70 of the way down and angled them slightly forward -the slight forward angle was the real comfort item, that way my ears fit snugly inside the 'earmuff padding' and the strap over the top of my head is angled slightly forward which holds the headphones on my head so perfectly (no slipping off!) like all the other lighter AKG's would on my head when I ran fast or jogged at higher impact strides with them. The result is that these he heavy by comparison headphones stay on my head even when jogging/running better than the newer Y50BT's and better than ALL the Y500s. Microphone sound quality for me on calls in the outdoors or on a treadmill is very good, like the Y50BT. I don't like the Y500s plug in Mike, I've lost 2 of the three as well since detachable and small means 'easily lost' to me. Now for the sound quality and loudness. I use all my AKG headphones with Android phones from S7edge to Fold3 and Flip3 and for AKG they are y500 to Y50BT to the best=this one! AWESOME SOUND quality and the loudest of all...actually the Y500 sounds slightly better but it's pads don't work well and are awkward to me like marshmallows on my ears and they don't get loud... These 371bts sound AWESOME and FULL and are LOUD. Lastly the touch controls on the earpieces work perfectly and are easy to use reliably for me, even with sweaty exercise hands. Summary--these are the best and you get what you pay for. Best BT headphones ever once you 'fix' them as I did above and get used to their fit and heavier weight. If I need more headsets, this is what I'll get unless I need waterproof or in the ear-types (that have crappy batt life and get lost easily) but these are the ones to beat now for me. A to me...

I was cross-shopping the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80Ohm along with the K371.After hearing the DT770, I was a bit disappointed by the tuning. Sure, things were clear, but I felt like I was only getting treble and sub-bass. Additionally, the circle-shaped pads were not very comfortable on my oval-shaped ears.Then, I tried the K371. The tuning of these headphones is very pleasurable (thanks to that Harman target!). They are certainly not analytical or overly wide etc, but the tuning is spot on.They do a decent job blocking out external noise, but don't expect ANC. They are also rather comfortable, and have not upset me after several hours of usage.In conclusion, these are a fantastic set of headphones. They are very well-rounded and will suit many different use cases. Enjoy!
