I actually own two of these. One is for a cabinet holding my Synology NAS, and the other is for our media cabinet. I use SMART, so the fans spin up after the temperature hits a certain setting. It took me several hours per cabinet to install them but if you're great with tools and wood it might go more quickly for you. Two tips: 1) Make sure you cut at the very outside of the line you draw using the template. I had to cut and recut a few times, because my first cut was too conservative. 2) While on the On setting lower the fan speed, that way they never fully spin up on SMART and the fans are a lot more quiet.

I love the quality and programming of this device. It looks extremely nice and they make the install very easy with plastic templates for cut-outs and screw holes.

This is very good I have it one start less because it doesn't have a range for cooling. For example, if I have the temp set to 85, and it cools to 85 it turns off, but 10 seconds later it goes back to 86 and cold it back down to 85 but it may only take a few seconds to register and turns off again. This cycle continues and go on and off 3 times in a minute. Normally thermostats start cooling 1 or 2 degrees above the set temp and cools until 1 or 2 degrees below the set temp. Other than that, quiet and works well.

High quality and quiet. Installation is straight forward however mounting inside any cabinet can be challenging as it would be with any ventilating system.

My attempts at installation were not great - I marred the surface around the control plate until I thought to tape off and the surrounding area to avoid such nicks. I don't think that's anything wrong with the product, just the installer :)The lowest speed fan is produces more noticeable noise than I was expecting with such large fans - if it clicks on during a movie its certainly something that can bother you if you're into the movie, but about on par with other random noises in the house. Was just hoping for better.The display is too bright on its dimmer setting to stay on full-time, so it mostly remains off unless I'm tweaking it. I would have liked to see something dimme that's really suitable for a home theatre setup, since that's presumably where its mostly going to be used.Minor complaints aside, I'm keeping the temps down where I want them, and can put big heat-producers in cabinets that made me nervous previously, so it does its job well.

This is exactly what I've been looking for except I'm not using it on a audio system I'm using it to cool my solar power box where my batteries, inverter and charge controller are, as you can see I put the display on the front door and a fan on each end it kicks on automatically when it gets hot I love it.

My DVR was getting too hot in my AV cabinet. I ordered this system after looking at a few options. This wasn't too difficult to install. I used the template to cut out two holes, one on each side of my cabinet. I put the readout in an optional stand on the top of the cabinet. I didn't want to cut a hole for it at the time. No I'm fine with the control being on top. Looks cool and it's easy to see. This unit has different cooling levels and is programmable. When the TV isn't on, I can hear the fans a little. They are low noise. We never hear them when the TV is on. This unit is keeping my cabinet very cool. It's even nice for showing off! I've very happy I went with this premium system and didn't cheap out and try something lesser.

Cool product. A little expensive but does a nice job.

The look of this as a solution is very appealing. Its options and functionality exceeded expectations.We are very pleased with this product. Will use this brand in the future.
