Fans work good. Have been using them daily for 3 months with no issues. Control programmer screen is very difficult to see in bright light.

This works like a charm. Easy to operate and put in. My roof vents don't work well because they covered the openings with felt. The attic would become boiling and cause the second floor to become so hot during the day. Installation was simple. Had to install a plug in the attic for the wire but other than that it was simple to set the high temp limit and watch it turn on when it hit the temp and then turn off when it reached below the limit. A must have for any attic space!

I needed an extraction fan that would ventilate a 1200 sf shop in the summer. The installation was easy and the shop temperature dropped by 15 degrees. The thermostat works great and it automatically will turn the fan on when it gets to 80 degrees. You can control the temperature range and other parameters. I am very happy with the purchase.

I was wondering if an attic fan would really work because I've heard many different things from many different places. So, I decided to conduct my own experiment. I have an EcoBee Smart thermostat with 3 temperature sensors across my house, I am able to see exactly when my ac kicks on, the temperature outside, when the attic fan is running and the temperature up there. ... without getting too deep into it I will say, yes, it absolutely does work. I tried running the attic fan for 18 hrs one day, then 20 hrs the next, then completely off, all while monitoring the indoor temp, attic temp, room temperatures, outdoor temp, when the rooms cool down, how long it takes, when the AC kicks on and so on. In a summary, what I discovered is that running the attic fan from about 12 PM to 5 AM (15 hrs per day) cools the attic by 15 degrees at its peak, by doing this, the central AC does not kick on until 4 hrs later, saves 4 hrs of AC per day. To break that down into a rough estimate in cost - that means it costs me about 0.20 to run the attic fan per hr = 3.00 . The AC is about .50 per hr, running it without the attic fan for 10hrs per day = 5$ per day, with the attic fan it cuts that down to 6 hrs per day = 3$ per day. 33 = 6 per day. This is 1$ more per day to run the attic fan with AC, so, im actually spending about 30$ more per month with the attic fan! Now, like I said, this is a rough estimate, I'm guessing it is actually more of a wash because the ac run times are less often with the attic fan running. Now, this is where I think it is beneficial, your AC has a life span obviously, with saving 4hrs of runtime everyday, you're extending you AC's life by many years, my approximation is about 11,000 hrs or run time, thats pretty darn good because AC units are not cheap! (About 5500$.) Also, you're helping your house breathe, therefore extending the life of your roof, which also is not cheap to replace (about 10,000$.), so, for me, that's where the savings really come into play. I also noticed the humidity level was near zero up there without the attic fan, by looking on Google, that is not good and your attic should have some humidity, the attic fan provided this needed humidity. I am using the 14 fan and had to cut a little under 1/4 from each stud to make it fit right, but it worked out fine. I recommend getting as big of fan as possible to really move the air well personally, but make sure it will fit first! The probe is 19 feet from the unit and cooling about 600 sq ft of insulated attic. The fan is directly above my bedroom and I can hear it with my window open at night, on full blast, but its not bad, like a white noise. I hope that's helpful to anyone concerning buying one, I'm happy with my purchase and do recommend it. Stay cool :)Update : using automations - It took several days and paying attention to the graphs, fan run times, outdoor Temps, and attic temp, but I got the run time total down to about 5.3hrs per day, so now to run the fan I am only spending about 1.20$ per day and accomplishing the same goal. With that done, I am expecting to now save about 30 - 40$ per month in electricity.

This works great for greenhouse ventilation. Install, program and forget. Quiet, powerful and efficient. This unit replaced the AC Infinity 16T, which (for my application) was somewhat glitchy. The display would go blank, displaying (---) and shutting down. It would also trip the GFI breaker from time to time. This became more frequent over time to the point of where after 3 years it would trip the breaker when it was plugged in. Meanwhile in the other greenhouse we used this AC Infinity 14T with no problems and great performance. Now both greenhouses are running like a top. Thanks to the folks at AC Infinity. They truly care and are there for their customers. By the way did I mention they have actual people talking to you on the phone. Shout out to AC Infinity

Solid product. Powerful draw and reasonably quiet. Installed in attic to evacuate summer heat but its Seattle so the hot days are a few weeks away. I am confident we will see improvement in our upstairs temperatures.

This is the second fan we have bought. One fan is in our greenhouse. I set it at 100 degrees and it comes on as scheduled and does a great job of exhausting the heat. The louvers open nicely and close tight.installingwas not complicated. Just follow the instructions. Then it's plug and play. The second fan is installed in the pitch of the attic in the house. It comes on as programmed for temperature and humidity and pulls air thru the house and drops the temperature inside the house by 5 degrees. The fanpulls the stale air and improves the air quality.

My husband and I live in Florida and he does a lot of projects and stuff in the garage, but when he proposed putting a fan in the garage I laughed. I didn't think it would make much of a difference considering that we have a 3 car garage and the fan isn't that big. It really made a difference and easily drops the temperature in the garage 10 degrees! It's so powerful that when we open the door from the house to the garage it sucks it open. It took my husband a full day to install, but it was definitely worth it.

Perfect for my 3 car garage based woodshop. I wanted an exhaust system that would serve two functions: Remove fine dust while working in the woodshop. And to cool down the garage by pushing out hot air and sucking in cool air through my garage roof vents. This does both very well. I purchased two fans since my shop is 600 square feet and has an open ceiling. This required some additional ventilation requirements since the amount of air I needed to circulate was substantial. I have studs that are 16 inch on center and did not want to cut the studs. Instead of going with a larger fan, I went with two of these. My wall is almost 6 inches total thickness when adding in the stucco, drywall, and wood siding on the interior wall. As a result, the outside opening would have been recessed quite a bit. So I opted to purchase separate fan shutters for a flush fit on the outside. I removed the shutters that came with the fan since they were not needed. I got the fan shutters from Grainger item 53DR16. These fans move a lot of air for their size and are not very loud at all compared to some shop fans I have used. Summers are very hot here in So Cal and I will program the fans to turn on automatically around 2 am when the outside air is cool. Now when I go in my shop in the morning, the temps should be more comfortable. Highly recommend this product.
