We are trying to install Plus nuts into the floor of our van so that we can install shelving units and secure them to the van floor. We had problems with the Plus nuts spinning, but this tool made installing them so simple and easy - even with spinning plus nuts! Thanks so much!

I purchased this for the longer handles and more leverage as I have lost some hand strength. It functions perfectly with the longer plus nuts, but the mandrel would not shorten up enough to use a traditional riv nut in a tight space. Hoping it would have full dual function. Well made, nice kit, but....

I'm normally a happy Harbor Freight guy, but this is worth paying the extra $$ for. It's a very high quality tool with all the mandrels I could ask for.

This is a very handy and easy to use tool, and it is one of few that will work with longer "plusnuts". But, you should consider the "mandrels" as replaceable items, like Phillips-head screwdriver bits. And, these long mandrels are hard to find. There seems not to be a "standard" mandrel. Each company and tool type uses a different one. You can buy replacements directly from Astro, and they are inexpensive.

This tool has the long arbors for plusnut and of course will work with rivnuts. Works like a charm. Get a feel for how much pull you use because you can easily over pull your fastener and render it useless.

This tool is really built strong. There is no doubt in my mind it will last a life time. With a little practice you can tell if the plusnut is seated completely. Just in case you do not get the plusnut seated enough to prevent rotalionaly slipping, you and screw in the tool and tighten further. I do not know what can be improved in this tool.
