It works extremely well for my needs. I rebuild / restore small but critical parts of exotic and antique automobiles. A lot of my work is carried out locked in a vise and the ability to place a good strong light wherever I wish is extremely advantageous.

Firstthis is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. I was a bit surprised when I opened it. My first thought was 'what did I buy here'?Then I plugged it in. Wow!! This little thing is bright!!I mounted it on my bench top drill press and that's where it'll stay. Works perfectly for what I need.I would recommend for a smaller drill press.

I bought this light to use on my wood lathe and it has worked very well. The magnetic base lets me move it to where it is needed most. It is helpful to provide low-angle lighting when applying finish as well as to shine inside hollow vessels when turning the inside. I will probably buy a second one to use on my band saw.

Im using this on a 16 wood lathe. The light is easily moved where I need it and the magnet is strong enough to hold it in place. Its flexible and the light bright. It is small but for my purposes adequate.

Good light but the flexible arm is terrible. Once you bent the arm to adjust the angle it does not stay in its place for more than 10 minutes. After few weeks of use the arm started to just move down towards the gravity. The light switch is good but the magentic holder is weak. If the manufacurer makes these 2 adjustment and make arm more strong and mount more magentic it will be a good product.

We used one of these as a sight aid on machinery at my job, and it was on 8 hours a day every day and never once had any problems with dimming or shorting out. In fact it was so good, I bought one myself to use while sewing. The only things you should use caution with are the heat produced from the bulb, and the very strong magnet on the bottom

I am using this light clean my rifle. The magnetic base allows me to easily adjust the light right where I need it and the flex tubing light mount just adds more preside adjustment.
