This is an inexpensive gage set. The measurements are accurate as to what is marked on the labels on the box itself. However, the gages themselves are not individually marked. The item description says that they are so this should be corrected. If they fall out of the box, you will need a caliper to measure each one to place it in the correct location so be very careful with the box as the gages will fall out if the box is overturned.

I checked about 50 of the 125 gage pins (set M3-) using a digital mic (Shars Aventor).All were on target within /-0.00095. The case matches my M1- and M2- sets, so they stack well.All pins (that I touched to measure) were properly oiled and laser(?) marked with size. No burrs.Pleased with purchase.

Needed to find the correct fit for a pin used in a precision project. ! was able to determine that the diameter of a factory produced pin (that for loosely) could be remedied by a pin of a slightly larger diameter. Having the ability to test fitment by using a few pins from this set allowed me to commission a competent machinist to make me a new pin that fit to the exact exact specification I wanted. This set is a great asset to have when close enough isn't good enough...
