This is a great product. Can be the best in the aspect as it can be used to fix just about anything. Hubby and I have used it for years. Never had any problems with it. Now, however, I can't seem to get the tape to stick the material to the mat (as in type used for sewing, not walking on). For just some reason after I have cut my blocks and trimmed them up and then go to take them to the mat; the tape keeps coming lose. Frustrating. Now, I have to place the tape on all four sides, the whole length. Figuring I will need to add an extra half inch to the four sides to have room to cut off the treads pulled loose. Tried fabric tape, not as good as by bluey (tape). Double sided tape, nope, blocks are different sizes, so double sided with a piece of fabric size of 4w and 7l and then need to have a strip of 3w and 9l; that just creates a lot of problems. So, top of my list in needing to have a strong, easy to use tape for my fabric, Bluey is my choice.

I know duct-tape gets all the headlines, but Scotch Blue masking tape has so many more uses around the house. Best of all, it's easy to pull up and reposition, and it doesn't leave sticky tape-residue like duct tape.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I just used this tape to seal around my Outdoor Breaker Box and my Generator Breaker Box which sit side/side. I needed top pain the Salt Treated Boards the Breaker Boxes were attached to. It was breezy and the newspaper I used was blowing around everywhere until I got it attached with this painters tape. After that the newspaper never budged. This tape held it tightly in place. I also used the tape to go right around the edge of the boxes. This tape held up perfectly. Once I was done painting, I easily removed the tape and newspapers without any residue left behind. I have used this brand of painters tape all my life and never had a concern, whether painting drywall inside my home, or painting metal outside my home, it has always held when I needed it to, but came back off just as easily. I Recommend. Good Luck.

I cant ever figure out how to use this tape properly when painting walls but I do like it for craft projects. Residue removal is easy as there is very little to none. Stickiness is good and if it gets stuck to itself, I can usually unstick it pretty quickly. Seals good for crafts but I have textured walls and it doesn't do too well on those. Good thickness and tears easily and straight across. Appearance is good.

Because of its easy of removal and blue color - I use this to label items that are in boxes and containers. Super sturdy and holds tight. Of course, it is also good as protection when painting. Just as a variety of uses.
