Exactly what we wanted. Turned it into a media cabinet so we could mount the tv over the fireplace and hide the components. I've uploaded pics. It fits our cable box, blueray, wifi, etc, plus adds additional seating for 2 if we have a crowd.

This is a great little bench. I use it in the entry way for a place to sit down and take off boots in the winter. It also has plenty of storage below for hats, mittens, scarves etc. I bought a couple of canvas baskets that make that more convenient. It was fairly easy to put together, but did require two people, one to hold the pieces together while the other tightened the screws. The only negative about this bench is that the back top piece is not stable and tends to move back and forth. Not a huge issue for me, but might bug some people.

We really liked the bench, the color didn't match the room I bought it for, the picture made it appear darker than it really is. We did find a place for it in another room.

Purchased this after reading a number of reviews about the difficulty assembling it. Sure enough, assembly was a frustrating experience. The supplied dowels were 3/8 in diameter while the pre-drilled holes were 5/8 in diameter.Assembly is difficult and it definitely requires two people to assemble, but the finished product looks nice. For the price point of $135 it is worth it even with the assembly frustration. When I later told my employee that the bench is supposed to support up to 400lbs, he laughed sarcastically. He said it didn't feel that sturdy and he would guess 200lb capacity max.We will see...

Serves the purpose and not a bad price. The craftsmenship is a little sloppy and I had to make some adjustments to make the doors close properly. Looks great and great for putting all my wife's college books inside and out of view.

Nice sturdy bench, great walnut color. Looks really cute in my front entry way and hides all my hubby's shoes and motorcycle gear! Yay! I am a 27 year old wifey ( aka I dont build much!) and I put this thing together both with the tool provided and a power drill and it took me about an hour and a half ( I was watching a movie, too). The only issue is that the front doors don't really line up...I even had hubby look at it to make sure it wasn't just my "building skills" that messed it up. All in all, not really that bad and I can deal with it for the price. We will keep it anyway.

I love my storage bench! I love the price and the look. I was iffy about buying because previous reviews, but I am glad I went with it.

Having recently adopted a rescue dog, I found the entrance area of my condo home cluttered with leashes, collection bags, treats, and all the other necessities of dog ownership. This inexpensive bench is the perfect organizational answer. The two doors hide so much, and I placed a tightly-woven basket on the top to house the items that are most frequently used. The instructions, which were semi-easy and somewhat time-consuming, said that constructing the bench required two people; however, that was true for only one step. For the price and quality, this is a very good value.

I wanted a small bench to fit in a specific spot, and this one did the job. One of the doors is a little crooked, but it's hardly noticeable. Very sturdy bench, good rich walnut color, and looks expensive.
