There is a large back panel made from 1/4\" thick foam that has three ridged preformed stays that run down the back of the leg. The stays are bent to resemble the anatomical shape of the back of the leg and knee. There are two side panels (one on each side) that attach with Velcro to the back panel. These side panels can be moved to make the immobilizer larger or smaller while keeping the side stays correctly positioned on the medial and lateral sides of the knee. There are four Velcro straps, which feed through plastic loops for even adjustable compression. The open patella design removes direct pressure from the patella for improved comfort while also helping to stabilize the patella. Knee Immobilizers are used to treat knee injuries, with a focus on the ligaments of the knee or other severe injuries to the soft tissue of the leg.Suggested HCPC: L1830Length GuideItem #Length 3011212\" Length3011616\" Length3011818\" Length3012020\" Length3012222\" Length3012424\" Length..72962518325030112272.9300lbs0.000.000.00

This brace is easy to put on and easy to tighten up. I wear it at night to keep my knee straight while I sleep. It is very comfortable.

It kept my knee from bending and therefore allowed it to heal. Doctor's office wanted to charge me $79 for same one. I highly recommend!

Got a full length immobility brace from the ER for my knee injury which was very clumsy, long and kept sliding to my ankle. Got this 12” version today and it is great. Much more comfortable, got it in one day, and it was really inexpensive. Glad I chose this one.

Slipped on the ice going down my front steps and tweaked my knee. This worked very well to immobilize my knee so it could heal. It did slip down a bit while wearing it but a compression sleeve helped with that issue. Easy to put on and is adjustable to fit better.

We ordered this for our son after he sprained his leg skiing. Per the doctors recommendation we need an immobilizer. This immobilizer has worked great and infinitely adjustable assuming you get the right size. I also have one of these in a much larger size that I used after my knee surgery and it served me well even to sleep in. Cheers

I injured my knee and needed something to brace it with no pressure on my kneecap. This helped so much. I was able to give my knee a couple weeks rest to heal and now it is back to normal. As others stated, it did slip down a bit when walking for a while, but a little tug and it was back in place. I rarely walked while healing so it wasn't an issue for me.

For my small leg, to secure properly, the space for the knee cap is very small

Bought this for my husband who has been dealing with intense knee pain after a slip down the stairs. One of the only knee braces he's tried that doesn't suffer the issue of slipping down the leg when walking. Works well to keep leg straight and is comfortable for daily wear. One of the brackets did end up breaking though which it keeps it from locking anymore and so it bends freely.

I am 5ft tall and for knee immobilization the 12” brace worked perfectly. The longer lengths made it difficult to get around on crutches. The brace is well made and economical. The steel rod in the back of the brace provides excellent support.
