This anchor does a great job of securing my anchor robe to the bottom of the lake. When it hits bottom, it stays there until lifted from directly above. You will not drag this one back to the boat. You will drag the boat to the anchor and then lift it. The only problem is that Im getting to old to lift that heavy anchor back to the boat. I can still do it now, but one day I wont be able to anymore. Then Ill have to buy a lighter anchor, until then, Ill use this wonderful anchor.

This anchor holds our 24ft pontoon in place on windy days with no problems. My cousin was anchored next to us today and had to keep resetting his, and asked me for the link for mine since I wasn't moving.

So far the best anchor I have used. I have tried a few. I wish it could be a little lighter and easier to move around but it holds my tritoon in any bottom conditions.

After trying several different anchor types, we finally decided to get this one after many recommendations from friends. It catches immediately and we no longer have to worry about drifting due to the clay bottom in the lake.

This is the best anchor I've ever owned. Don't waste your time with the traditional fluke anchors. I have a 23 foot wakeboard boat and this is the first anchor I've owned that hits the bottom and locks us in without dragging. One gripe, but it's minimal, is the locking bar to fold and unfold is really difficult to manipulate. I store the anchor opened in the box mode to avoid the locking bar.

I have a 23' tritoon and have been using a fluke and a mushroom anchor and was always having trouble keeping my boat in one place when I was parked in a popular shallow water area on our lake. The 1st time I used this box anchor, I was absolutely amazed. It kept my boat still while other boats kept having to reset their anchor.
