These are fabulous. I open them up and then put them in the silverware compartment in the dishwasher and they get clean. I'm no longer hand washing straws and because of that, our family can get away with 8 of these instead of the 40 we had in rotation before. I still held on to the others as there's times you need an extra straw, but those are getting tossed more often than washed. My cat chews the thick plastic, single piece straws [which is why theyre getting tossed these days...can't clean out the kitty bites as easily], but she doesn't chew these. We only have 1 straw that squeaks as you drink from it, but it only does that in a specific tumbler when oriented in a specific way.

Got these since they advertise that they are easy to clean and that is true. However one broke the first time I tried to open it to clean. The rest seem to be fine so far! I really like the ease of cleaning, I am never sure if those straw brushed get everything out of standard straws

This is ingenious, amazing the way it works is the best thing to happen to water cup culture! To be able to actually clean the inside and sanitize it is incredible. The colors are beautiful and the quality is great!

I found these straws and was intrigued by them. I have been using them for several months now and I really enjoy opening the straw and cleaning it well. The straw brushes work but I wondered if it cleaned out everything. With these straws you can visibly see how clean they are. And when you snap them back together, there is no extra air getting in through the seam. It seals tightly and works great. Definitely on my buy again list.
