My family really likes these little stools! They fit our table perfectly and are pretty strong. My only tip is line the red dots up on the chair because it doesn't say to do it in the directions. They're really easy to assemble.

Great height level for cooking at standard 36 counter when I'm winded. Sturdy and nice looking, nice lines. I assembled myself, on oxygen, in 15 mins max. Line up the corners right and everything's fine.

I searched high and low for a counter-height stool like the one in my kitchen to no avail. So I took a chance on this one. So glad I did! It's the perfect height for my bathroom counter, and it goes well with my “farmhouse-glam” bathroom! I chose black. It seemed to go together easily (my husband assembled it). It's sturdy; I feel very secure on it. And it's comfortable with the slightly curved seat and foot rail. It doesn't take up a lot of space, which was important to me, as it could stick out into the passageway if it was too big. And the price was reasonable, unlike many others. I like it so much that I trudged upstairs to take a photo! The stool is a true black; the cabinets are “dusk.”

The stool itself was very nice but it takes a lot of force to drive the screws in place and because the screws are so cheap the heads stripped out and the Allen wrench wouldn't grab anymore. I had to send it back with 2 pieces loosely screwed together because I wasn't able to remove the screw. Before sending it back I even went to 2 hardware stores in an attempt to buy better screws but was unable to because of the size of the screws and the fact that the heads of the screws needed to be recessed into the wood which limited my options. It is frustrating to get what probably would have been a good product only to be unable to put it together because they cheaped out on the hardware!

These stools aren't bad. Gives you a place to sit for a short period but not too comfortable for extended seating as there isn't any seated padding or back support, which I knew when purchasing. Not bad though.

I needed a single stool for my newly put together sewing area. I converted the closet that used to hold the washer and dryer into a small sewing center. I can close the louvered doors and hide the project mess. This saddle seat stook works great for me! It is very sturdy, solid, easy to put together and it slides easily under the fold up counter top. Truly a win-win. The price difference for the black finish vs the dark brown was significant, so this spring, I'll paint it black so I can pull it out and use it on the kitchen when needed. Certainly glad I have this stool!
