The finish was clear and smooth with no runs, drips or dust. The cabinet work was top-notch, especially for the price. The hinged portion of the cart was pre-assembled. Assembling the casters and top shelf was simple and easy. However, the four screws with the provided Allen wrench, did require a strong grip to fully tighten. The wood plugs that covered the back screw holes were tap-in plugs. My experience with these has been that sooner or later, they fall out. I added a drop of super glue inside the hole's lower edge before tapping the plugs in with a light hammer. They'll never fall out.Folding the cart is simple and quick. The middle shelf must be lifted out, the flip up the top and the bottom shelf and simply fold the legs inward. The casters rolled easily on my wood floor and the carpeted floor with the shelves full and a 13-inch Epson printer, with lots of stuff on the shelves, including a case of paper.Overall a quality, solid wood item, especially for the price.1-8-2013: An added comment about the screws. They must be tightened until they won't turn. I put an extension on the allen wrench, because by hand they felt tight, but they weren't. The fit is very snug, but if they are not tightened all the way, the unit will probably wobble.
