Mission: To inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Target demographics: inspire students, 6-18 years of age to be science and technology leaders

Direct beneficiaries per year: 9,000 students participat in the sport of science, technology and teamwork.

Geographic areas served: Washington state

Programs: Junior FIRST Lego League for K-3 grade students, FIRST Lego League for 4-8 grade students, FIRST Tech Challenge for 9-12 grade students and FIRST Robotics Challenge for 9-12 grade students. Washington FIRST Robotics is STEM in action.
