My search for affordable, high-quality ballroom shoes is over. I always go a 1/2 size smaller with ballroom shoes. 5.5 fit perfectly. They are a bit wide in the heel, but I am hoping the cross-over design will still keep my ankles stable. The toe box width is adjustable. I also love that the straps are not ridiculously long.They came with a really cute scraper that folds up. I hate the bulky ones with handles.I dance four or five days a week, so I run through ballroom shoes quickly. I will be back for more if these hold up. Thank you!

I liked the heel height, cant dance with higher heels. You can adjust the shoes to fit your feet. Very comfortable, and good price.

I have only danced in these shoes once: so far so good, I have a wide foot and the adjustable straps are a life saver. I like that the heal is not too high, there's is some padding in the toe box that makes the shoe a lot more comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 8.5, they fit perfectly. Others have ordered down a size, that would not have worked for me. My foot fits snug but not tight and my toes are not squished. Love the way they look on my foot.

UPDATE 2!Don't judge me but here's an update after wearing these for close to a year (though I switched physical pair due to sizing, as I mentioned below). Still love the shoes but DEFINITELY size down if you're wearing these for salsa/bachata/as a regular dancer. You can see my notes below but short version: I wear 8.5 in street shoes, now wearing a 7.5 in these shoes and still wouldn't hurt me to go down to a 7. (If you're nervous about that though at least go down 1 full size). But the buckles on the toes are also great so don't forget about those !UPDATE 1I've been wearing several times a week for a few months now and my instructor actually called meOut from across the room one say saying they noticed they're too big and that my foot wiggles in them, they told me to go down a size! (They said that's why my spins have been off lately, and j could hurt myself if I continue wearing this size.) So if you read what I said up there ^^^ I'd then probably go down a size and recognize that it might not feel as cushy as I first noted but apparently that's how we want them! And it'll break in.ORIGINAL REVIEW, after first wear:Really loving these shoes so far, for salsa. I've only worn them for half of a practice so it's possible my thoughts will change! But for now, they're gorgeous and so comfy. I definitely to break them in (hence the 'half' of a practice), but not bc of anything other than my own personal preference of a tiny bit less traction (what can I say, I'm a spinner!).Sizing was surprisingly exactly like my street shoe size. (Granted, I've always preferred my heels -- including street shoes -- to be about a half size smaller so my feet/toes don't slide down) So it's possible that the fit of these may be a tad but on the tighter side?) Not sure but if you're not sure what I'm talking about, then ignore that side note and just go with your REGULAR SHOE SIZE!!! Again, for me, it was spot on.As always, I also love the straps with the super quick latch.Did I mention how beautiful they are?? I was giddy just seeing them!

My 9 year old daughter didn't like it on the first try. But she just had to break them in and now she loves them! The design looks nice and we like that the straps are adjustable.
