Almost felt like material. Purchased for Dr. Seuss day, we'll get a few more uses from it. Well worth the price. Fit a 4 year olds head, with room to grow, slight elastic in the back.

Getting ready for a costume party. Adult woman with a man's large hat size, sometimes even XL depending on the hat. I can wear this 34;snuggly34; so that the fish is horizontal to the floor, OR if I tip it back (like on the photo) it's actually looser -- but I think that works better on little kids. It's made of what seems to be a felt like material, and has a paper/cloth open weave liner .... only intend to wear it for one day so not too concerned about it's strength, but I'm thinking it could last a few days of wear just by the feel

LOVE THIS! My hubby wore it for Halloween to go with our daughters Dory costume. He got so many compliments throughout the night... only downfall is he kinda stole the show from the kids inadvertently with this hat! Would 100 recommend this hat!

For the price, you can't beat it! However, keep that in mind when it arrives because it is cheaply made, not plush as stated, and they used black thread on the fins. It doesn't look like black thread in the photo. The eye also has a scratch on it where the green color of the pupil came off.

I got this hat to be Nemo and Dory with my girlfriend for Halloween. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on it! The hat fit my large head well on stayed on all night until it was knicked by another partygoer. The had must have been on everyone's head at least once. It was adorable and had everyone making fish faces all night!

I bought this hat to be worn as a silly hat at a camp I work at. So far it was worn for about 6 hours and will only go through that about once a year. It does seem somewhat cheap and a little tight, but I wasn't expecting much in the first place. For my purpose, it worked perfectly.
