It's about 2 round and is great for small nano aquariums. I've even used it to suspend a breeder net before :)

So I was very happy with how these little magnets work in removing algae but am only giving them 3 stars because the felt backing ion the larger magnet for the outside magnet is already wearing thin after a little over a month of use.

This magnetic algae cleaner was just the ticket for the 4 gallon saltwater tank I have in my office. It's thin enough to reach even the tightest of clearances around live rock, but flexible enough to mold itself to the curved inside surface of the corners of the glass. The magnet is powerful and keeps the small scrubbing pad tight against glass to remove some of the most stubborn algae. I'm going to see if the have a similar product for my larger 30 gallon tank at home.

Slender magnet inside the tank gets past plants that are growing next to the glass. It does a lovely job of cleaning algae off -- even in corners.

I purchased this to get into some of the tighter places of my 29 gal. biocube and it does a great job. I also like that it does not stick out like my mag-float did. I would not recommend this as your only acrylic/glass cleaner if you have a big tank. Since I don't it works out really well for me.

This is great for hard to get spots, but still to small to use on a small 5 gallon tank. You will still want a little large scrubber.

I have this cleaning the walls of my mr.aqua 5.2 gallon. the glass has a bowed curve in the front that my mag float just couldn't clean, this little guy works like a charm!the only thing I don't like about this mag is that there seems to be a bit of indention on water side of the magnet (its hard to describe, I'll post pictures)

I find this a good tool as it does an excellent cleaning job, and permits you to get into tight areas which would restrict a larger cleaner. My decision is based on having tried both on a twenty-nine gallon salt water tank.

Works great, bends around corners, very strong magnet. I have an 18gal tank. I have left it in the tank on the back behind the heater. If I see a spot on the glass I just slide the nanomag around clean it and hide it in the back again. Very happy.
