Timpano Audio's TPT-MD12 12" midbass speaker is a great choice for adding some high output midbass to professional and automotive sound systems. With a large vented ferrite magnet and 2-1/2" voice coil, this driver is ideal for use in high output applications. Capable of handling a massive 375 watts RMS and with a sensitivity of 97 dB, the TPT-MD12 is designed to deliver continuous high SPL midbass output.

With a naturally damped paper cone and cloth surround, this driver keeps resonances under control for natural response. The 2-1/2" voice coil and powerful magnet are designed to allow high sensitivity and increased power handling. Due to a Qts of 0.52, this will work perfectly in vented or sealed enclosures.

I've heard PRV and similar brands that's comparable but the Timpano 12s sounds just as good if not better. Very satisfied with them.
