I tried this swimsuit and many others in my local sporting goods store, and it came ahead of other brands (Nike, Land's End) by a mile! It does size a little smaller than I would have expected - I wear 8 in pants but needed a size 12 (I'm 5'1 and 150lbs). That being said it was the ONLY swimsuit I tried that was supportive in the chest area, and had a cut meant for women, not 12-year-olds. The material is thick and comfortable, and it looks great. Very happy about my purchase.

Happy with the fit and support. I feel the butt could be maybe an inch more to do a comfy coverup of the mama cheeks but it does the job. I'm 5'7 140lbs with 34/36 D cup. I went with the size 12. The cup support is a tad more of a sports spary/smashed support but nothing pops out or down. The pads do move around quite a bit with wear and movements. They are sewn into the seems therefore in order to unfold them.and move them back in place you have to fiddle with them quite a bit. I will only hang dry because I'm scared of shrinking the suit or totally discombobulatin' the pads. For the price, I hope it takes me through the summer and lots of movements in kiddy pools!.. we shall see. Overall very happy. It was also a try before you buy! Which made it even more awesome.

Unfortunately I couldn't give this item a five star review, because the color you get, is not the color pictured. The black swim suit shows white contrast in the picture, but actually the swim suit has a dark gray contrast. Not an attractive color at all!

TYR makes great suits. They usually wear like iron. I have had threeof this same suit-different colors. They fit snug and in my opinion runsmall. I ordered up one size and I am very pleased. This is not as attractiveas my last TYRs. This is all black, but I was going for a good price. I will lookaround in the next few months for a nice color. A contrast piping makes a differenceand this suit has black trim, also. If you are a lap swimmer and/ or do classes you willbe pleased with this suit. It swims well and is a modest suit; which I like.

The cut is just right for me. I hate the suits with the big hole in the back that other lap swimmers wear. It's just not flattering on me. I like that's it cut high in the back and keepsw covered in front.

I'm mid-50s, so the swim team suits of my youth were not making it. This suit provides more coverage but still feels like a lap-swim suit. I swim several thousand yards and the suit stays put. Good purchase.
