This thing is wonderful. No more fussing trying to get one filter separated. Place the coffee filters upside down. Then take the tweezers and grip the corner of the filter. One filter separates from the stack easily. Real patience saver.

The rubber tips are too hard, they do not grip like the one I had years ago. You cannot pinch a single filter because the tips will not grip it to separate it from the stack. I hold the tool sideways while pushing down and sliding it across the center of the top filter, the two tips will then pull it loose from the stack as you pull the tool.

The first one I purchased eventually broke, but I liked it enough to order it again. Really makes it easier to get just one filter at a time out of the package.

Original product worked great! Until it broke. Ordered a new one, it is a piece of crap. Rubber feet/grippers.m don't grab anything. Worthless piece of crap. Went from a 5 star product to 0. Complete waster of money

I purchased this item to replace the coffee filter picker that we lost during remodeling our kitchen. I had no option but to buy 3. I only wanted to buy one. But, I was thinking that it may be good to buy three of them just in case some thing happens.So, when the picker arrived, I noticed that they were not the same as the one which we losted. The black rubbers do not meet together. When trying to pick a coffee filter out of the bundle, we cannot grab onto the filter.So, the rubber tips are a little powery. I thought that if I wash the tips, it MAY help. But it didn't. So, we use the picker, sliding the rubber tip across the coffee filter. That doesn't really work either.Still searching for the right one.

Eliminates the frustration of trying to get a new filter out of the pack of coffee filters. You just put it in the middle of the pack and squeeze to pull out a new filter!
