I bought this for a White Bellied Caique which is bigger than a Cockatiel. If he were an active chewer this toy would have been destroyed in less than a day.That's not to say that it isn't a nice looking, well made toy. It is a great toy for parakeets, finches, and maybe cockatiels, but if you have a larger bird I would go for a stronger toy.
