I haven't used them yet, but I am pretty sure they are going to do the job just fine. I could use those connectors instead of soldering for small projects. I already have a heat gun, so why not add this to my collection?

Take it slow and heat the ends first so you don't have to try to hold the wires in the right position the whole time. Then as you bring your torch in closer to the middle you will see the solder expand slightly as it makes contact with the wires. Maybe it was just a cold day but seemed to take longer to activate than normal heat shrink. My only regret is that I did not buy more. These are a lot better than my old method of crimping connectors and trying not to overheat heat shrink.

Since it was time to rewire my utility trailer, I made the decision to try this type of connector instead of the tried and true twist connector. Easy to put on and with a couple of mistakes I was impressed and happy with my final results.

I never used any of these yet but they look well made and will do a great job at what they are made for.

I tested 2 of those on some scrap wires i had around, the connection is really good but if you bend the connector after you can see air getting inside so i won't say that its completely waterproof
