Works perfectly. We bought a box of Hatch Chile, roasted them at home instead of having to wait at the store to have them roasted. I recommend this item to anyone who likes roasting whatever they want roasted.

As you can see, many person are having issues with the built in burners. There is no air inlet in the propane connection and therefore it will ruin any chilies you try to roast. I ended up putting 2 1/2 inch air inlets in line with the propane outlet. Only now will it roast without blackening the Chile. Better off to save your money or you will end up with a bundle of chicken wire loosely wrapped around 2 plates....

I got the idea when I saw a chili roast at H E B. Decided to try it for prickly pear spines instead of a standard torch. Works great, extremely efficient with the propane and the time you save is immeasurable. Fantastic product!
