I was old wipe with a damp rag guy for decades but decided to branch out with this for a high end piece of oak. This really defined the grain and pattern much more. Did exactly as promised. No more damp rag for me !

This was a must use when we decided to make our own trim on existing stained doors. It was hard to match the color but the wood conditioner allowed the stain to color the wood the correct shade As opposed to the unconditioned wood. Very happy and wish I had this for my previous wood projects

Even a dark Cherry stain would not soak in to the wood at all. It also made it difficult for the stain to set, dry if you will even after a few days in 85 dry degree weather in Arizona.

I tackled my project without this and it was a blotchy mess. I totally stripped the wood again and applied this conditioner which made everything perfect. 100 better, the difference between failure and success.

Super easy to use and it does the job. I used it to help stain some wood that wasn't designed to be stained. Worked like a charm. Also used it to clean up another project and fix a mistake. Would buy again.

In my experience this works way better than the Minwax one. After application it has provided even staining. Of course for both conditioning and staining do outside or in a extremely well ventilated area. I have found best results using a foam brush applicator for both this conditioner and stain. And use an old t-shirt to wipe off the stain.
