We bought this wig to wear with a Cleopatra outfit, and like most people who ordered this product, we were a tad disappointed when we received it. It wasn't too fuzzy or unwearable, but it definitely wasn't as smooth as the picture.So after some extensive research on the internet, I figured out how to fix it and make it silky smooth. I placed the wig on a wig stand, and sat it in the middle of the bathtub. I sprayed some leave-in conditioner on the wig, and very gently combed it out straight with a wide-tooth comb to get rid of the big tangles. I then gently poured about three pots of boiling water over the wig, carefully brushing the wig down after each pot. I let the wig dry overnight, and after it had dried, I carefully trimmed the bangs and bottom of the wig with scissors to make it even and neat. Voila! A perfectly straight Cleopatra wig.NOTE: Please be careful when trying the above method. I had one other person helping me at all times, and I also made sure that I tested with hot water first (and then progressed to boiling) to make sure I didn't ruin the wig. Use the above method at your own risk.END RESULT: Beautiful wig. Well worth the hour I spent to make it look like the picture.

I have never purchased from Buy Costumes before but I needed a wig for my Egyptian costume. I was very surprised and delighted when I received the wig so quickly and the quality is great. I thought it would be a one time wear but this wig will be around for many more costume parties..

I bought this wig for this past Halloween to go with my cleopatra costume. Before this wig I had never wore a wig and was unsure what it would be like. I ended up loving it. I am blonde so big change in color, it took me a little while to get used to it haha. I just wore the wig with no head piece and it still looked good. I couldn't find a head piece anywhere! I also bought the wig cap which was a good idea because I have long hair. The only neg thing to the wig cap is it makes the wig slip around on your head. My wig almost fell off a few times. Overall I think the wig is a good quality and can be worn again for years to come!

This wig was excellent quality and really completed the look for my wife's Cleopatra outfit. It was comfortable to wear the entire evening. My wife was really happy that we decided to purchase this item as her hair is naturally curly and would not have been as good a look as the wig made her look. Overall we were very pleased with this purchase.

I got plenty of compliments on this wig at the halloween party. The hair is actually very soft and shiney. It's loads better than a similar wig I had purchased at a local halloween store. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I've bought Halloween wigs before and have been very disappointed in the quality. Not this one! Excellent quality, FUN to wear, and will hold up for many more costume parties yet to come! Had several people ask if I'd ever consider dying my red locks black after wearing this wig!
